About these NBA player rankings
Who is the best player in the NBA right now? EliteGM ranks every NBA player with the EliteGM Player Rating (EPR), a 0–100 score built from scoring efficiency, playmaking, rebounding, defense and recent form.
What makes a player valuable to a front office? GM Rating (GMR) blends a player's impact with age, contract length and durability, while Contract Value (CV) compares what a player earns to what his production is worth on the open market.
How often are the rankings updated? Rankings refresh weekly during the 2026-27 NBA season. Players without games yet this season are rated 0 and marked "Not played" until they take the floor.
